A Typical is a series of a boy with autism trying to find love. But it's not just the autism boy we learn from, we learn about a regular family as well that he lives with. We can see what a family is like of being related to an autistic child.

So mainly the purpose of the boy's adventure is to find love from a girl, basically get a girlfriend. You will be able to observe what he does and how he acts towards people and how he processes things and relates to them.

Interesting enough and amazing as it sounds in my opinion, the boy is the narrator himself. And you don't always get that for a narrator.

This is another reference to learn about autism and how to support it. But it's different since it involves school and a regular family for the main character.
